And we're going to do a full seven round mock draft and let you know what Raiders may be drafted on Thursday.

Again, the greatness of the Raiders is in the future and it's on the way. Good morning, Raider Nation. I'm happy to be with you. And look, as though we're looking to the future, on this show, I want to reflect a little bit on the past because we lost a great one yesterday. guys I've been waiting for this but obviously as you heard yeah obviously yeah I had to we had to do it

before the draft right but obviously link said know, we have to remember greatness. And our condolences go out to Rod Martin, who was a linebacker for the Raiders in the late 70s and 80s, part of that gritty defensive identity that the franchise was really built on. And the Raiders put out a statement saying the Raiders family is deeply saddened

by the passing of Rod Martin, a standout linebacker in a key player on two Super Bowl

championship teams, a 12th round draft pick by the Silver and Black out of USC in 1977.

Rod would become a mark of consistency on defense playing in 165 games with 147 starts in 12 NFL seasons,

all with the Raiders.

And obviously he's really remembered for those three interceptions in the Super Bowl.
