Summary

The entire planet is a living, breathing organism. It changes every day. The air we breathe could have been created thousands of miles away. And when we sit and notice the breath, we notice that each one is different, as is each moment. This weekend, pause and try to notice life as it unfolds. Learn more about your ad choices. Hey everyone, it's Dora here. I just want to let you know that we've launched a brand new

0:04.6

call and advice podcast called Dear Headspace. Each week the headspace teachers along with

0:10.3

some amazing new friends are answering your questions about relationships, work, life,

0:15.3

mindfulness, and just about everything else. It's so different from anything we've ever

0:20.3

created and we're so excited for you to hear it. Dear Headspace comes out every Tuesday

0:25.0

on the Headspace app and anywhere you listen to podcasts. Thanks for listening.

as well how the body and mind are connected through the breath, how we experience the body

1:26.0

in the mind and how we experience the mind in the body directly via the breath. Also,

1:31.3

forget as well that the breath exists far beyond the boundaries of our body. If you think

1:37.0

about the entire planet as a living, breathing organism, the trees and plants, exhaling oxygen

1:44.4

into the atmosphere and in turn absorbing the carbon dioxide that we breathe out, the entire

1:49.7

planet is moving in that way. The more you look into breath, the more we see that it has

1:55.3

this universal and timeless quality. It's oxygen that's created thousands of miles away

2:01.0

that somehow makes it to us that we're breathing in in the same way as we breathe out.

2:06.4

In terms of time, the air that we inhale may well be the air that dinosaurs once exhaled
