Heaven Up Here is a name of an extraordinary book

that came out a few years ago,

and it details a certain missionaries mission experience in Bolivia in the early 1980s.

The author of that book is John K Williams or John Kirk Williams on the cover,'s John K Williams but I am delighted tonight

to have the author of this book on the program to talk about his book and other

experiences he has had in the church after his mission. John Williams, welcome to the show.

Thank you, it's really great to be here. Well I want to tell the audience just a little bit

about our relationship because I have

actually known John virtually for a number of years now probably over 10 years now

actually but the way I'm sorry go ahead at least yeah it's

amazing how time flies but yeah when I say virtually I mean I've never met John

personally but I have known him through certain internet message boards relating to Mormonism.

Yep, yep, a long time ago that we met. I think we were both still on the other side.

We were and I think we've gone through a transition process, maybe at a similar point in time. The first time I think we met was on the former

Mormon apologetic discussion board which was hosted by Fair. Now Fair

Mormon, everything seems to be changing names.

Fair used to host this board and then Fair somehow got disentangled from hosting the board and they changed the name of it to the Mormon Dialogue and

Discussions Board which is a banner under which it now flies and I think that's

where I met you first. Yeah I believe that's, probably 10 or 15 years ago.
