Hello, friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. Are you ready to get your mind aligned

with the truth of God? In case you didn't know yesterday, we started a brand new series.

I'm calling it a mini series here on the morning mindset. It's called Realities. This is

something you'll want to share with your Christian friends, your mother, your father,

your brother, your sister, your sister in Christ. Whoever you know who needs a shot of

inspiration and encouragement about the realities, our God says exists in this universe and

where we fit into them. You'll want to share this. Please pause right now. Tell somebody

about this series and let them know you'll be listening along with them. Friends, we

can see God do a great movement through a renewal of these truths in our lives. Okay, today

I want to look at Genesis chapter one, verse number one. Yep, you got it. We're going

back to the beginning. The book of Genesis is the book of beginnings. It's the book

of God's start of everything when it comes to human history. Genesis chapter one verse

one says this, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And what I want

to focus in on as we begin this series on realities is the reality of God. It says in

the beginning, God, you see from our perspective, a human perspective, the beginning in the

only way we can legitimately define it begins with the start of what we call history. History

when time started ticking when the world was made, that's the beginning to us. But notice

what Genesis one verse one says in the beginning, God created. Wait a minute. Wait a minute.

Nothing existed, but God at that point. He was pre-existent. You might say to history,

God is eternally existent. The Bible teaches us. So friends, we have got to stop for a moment

and hit the reset button on our worldview, on our perspective as followers of Christ.

We are aligned with the God who is eternal, the God who created everything we know including time.
