You have found the Morning Mindset. Welcome back. My name is Carrie Greene. This is our

opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. And we are doing so right

now going through a little mini-series that I'm calling realities. And we're looking

at some of the fundamental realities that we as Christ followers have to be solid on.

These are things we've got to hold dear to our hearts and deep with conviction. Let's

dive in. Today we're going to be talking about the reality that God reveals Himself. You

know, we don't have to wonder. We don't have to search and scramble and make up our own

story of who God is. He has revealed Himself. Let's look first of all at how He reveals

Himself in creation. Romans chapter 1 verse 20 says, His invisible attributes, namely His

eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived ever since the creation

of the world in the things that have been made so that they, meaning mankind, are without

excuse. You see, nobody in all the history of the world will be able to legitimately say

I did not know there was a God because creation itself testifies to His creative ability.

These things that are mentioned here, His divine nature and His eternal power are obvious

in the created world. God reveals Himself. We find here in the New Testament era that He

reveals Himself through Jesus Christ, through the person who showed up in history. He

bears one, one, and two tell us long ago. At many times and in many ways, God spoke to

our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son, whom

He appointed the air of all things and through whom also He created the world. Folks, you

just have to see Jesus to see God. Jesus represents God. Jesus explained to us by His very existence

and life who God is because Jesus Himself is God. We're going to talk about that in a future
