Well, first let's break it down. What is anxiety? And I think the reason why we should do this is because you might wonder if in fact,

your worry or the feelings that you're having if those are in fact anxiety. Well anxiety is in fact a feeling.

It's a feeling of worry of nervousness or dread and it's not comfortable, but it's natural.

It can even be very productive. It's your brain signaling you that something isn't quite right.

An anxiety is natural because it's an intent, its purpose is to help us avoid danger. It's to help us make meaningful, important, safe choices.

But when it's persistent, when it's pervasive, when it feels like it's taking over your daily life, whether that's at school or when you're with friends or with family, when you can't think, that is what often is known as general anxiety disorder.

And get this nearly one third of American adults in the US struggle with anxiety at some point in their lives according to the National Institute of Health.
