I don't know about you but I'm riveted.

Dr. Joy has gotten my attention with her great book

0:25.0

Unmasking AI, My Mission to Protect What is Human in a World of Machines. It is an

0:31.2

incredibly intelligent and thought-provoking and a little bit scary glimpse of not just the past and her journey, but the future and what, you know, our use of this technology can look like.

And we're having that conversation with Dr Joy,

0:55.0

Bolo Wami. I told you I was gonna mess it up.

0:58.6

Oh, no worries, Boland Wini.

1:00.4

Boland Wini, there you go. I just just I'm all over the map and so Dr Joy is just fine.

1:07.4

Dr Joy so here we go so Dr Joy you know that we talked about the application of AI and the use of the development of this technology, not just this technology, but a whole host of technologies in this space around, you know, bias and the algorithms that are used to infuse bias into our social structure via technology.

2:05.0

wholly manufactured in the Boula of the R&C, showing images that were created to convey an impression or an idea that was not actually accurate.

2:21.0

And they had to, they had once people were like wait a minute you just showed something that Joe Biden wasn't there or didn't say and and so they had to admit oh yeah that was artificially created.

2:33.0

So they didn't label it what it was up front.

2:36.8

They put it out as a more traditional campaign commercial.

2:40.7

My fears were going to get that in spades over the next year. What are you, what do you see and what have you seen in the political and voting space when it comes to artificial intelligence.

2:54.4

I'm so glad we're having this conversation ahead of an election year because the risk

3:01.0

of AI and in particular generative AI when it comes to elections are real they're

3:08.8

present and I don't think people completely grasp the generative AI capabilities that are present now.
