Hey folks, welcome to the microstille podcast. We've got a wonderful conversation coming up when we, you know, stop and think about the Republican Party.

It still has a few stalwarts who still stand by the conservative principles of the GOP,

but also note that the country matters more than the party,

that also know their responsibility as elected officials, as political leaders is first and foremost to the

founding principles, the Constitution, and the ideas that form the country.

Adam Kensinger is that individual.

He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2003.

And after Donald Trump was defeated in the 2020 presidential election cycle, Kensinger became known for his vocal opposition to Trump's claim of voter fraud and attempts to overturn the 2020 election.

Kinsiger was one of the 10 Republicans who

voted to impeach Trump for an incitement

of insurrection in his second impeachment, and one of only two Republicans to vote to create

a select committee to investigate the 2021 United States capital attack.

He's that guy, stand-up guy who's going to stand up and put the country first. And subsequent to his appointment, he got turned on by the party.

They came after him. They came after him.

They came after Liz.

They came after others.

But he stood his ground because the country mattered more. He's the founder of Country First. is the

ground because the country mattered more. He's the founder of Country First, an organization

that represents the reasonable majority of Americans from all across the

political spectrum who demand better of their leaders and who expect more from their leaders.
