One of the things that I hope grows out of this series and this emphasis is a deepened conviction in all of our hearts in the sufficiency of Scripture.

Do you believe that the God of all truth speaks to all the great areas of

our life? Do you believe that the answer to current questions can be found in the Bible? Let me say,

I do. And it is one of the things that I pray the Holy Spirit will make very plain and personal to you.

This is Scott Pauli, and I'm so glad to have you with us on this special episode today of

enjoying the journey as we examine some more current questions and Bible answers.

Now, we've looked at a cultural question, we've looked at a doctrinal question,

we've looked at a practical question.

A variety of questions. Today, let's take two or three. And we'll deal with each of them briefly.

Just some miscellaneous questions that have been given from our audience. Here's a good one.

Is it all right to kill animals for food? Now, let me say right up front, first of all, that I am not a hunter.

I live in a part of the world where there's a lot of hunting that goes on, and even where we live,

I'm not a hunter, just didn't grow up that way, but I sure do enjoy the fruits of the hunters.

So I'm not a vegetarian.

Maybe we would be a little healthier if we ate less meat and more vegetables.

But the reality is, God is plain to answer this question for us in 1 Timothy chapter

number four.

Now, usually this question is rooted in some application of the Old Testament law.

And might I just say, I do believe that there were things that God prohibited for his people,

and there were physical benefits and health benefits related to that. In fact, there are diets today

that are connected to this. I'm not an expert in that field. I'm not a professional giving medical

advice. I can just answer the question from the Bible, and I will let Paul give that answer.
