at a very practical question today. Aren't you glad the Word of God is practical? That the

This question has been asked, why should we ask others to pray for us if we can pray for

ourselves? The reality is we can pray for ourselves. But it is also true that in Scripture,

we are commanded to pray for one another. Let's begin with the most basic answer to this

question before we get into the why and say, because it is commanded. The scripture plainly bears this out.

James chapter 5, verse number 16 says, confess your faults one to another and pray one for another that you may be healed.
