Mary Magdalene is a very intriguing and a very inspiring character in the Bible.

When you look at her life, who was Mary Magdalene, she was a prostitute,

the one that Jesus saved from her ugly self, from her demon-possessed self.

But when you look at it, especially in the last days of Jesus, Jesus gave a lot of important messages to his disciples. And one of the important messages is that he will die, three days,

and raised back to life. But no one got that message. Only Mary. Only Mary got that message.

When you look at the life of Mary, how Jesus has impacted her life,

Jesus saved her from the uttermost pit.

And there's nothing between Mary and Jesus.

Self was gone. Reputation destroyed.

And all she needed was Jesus.

All she needed was her Savior.

And when you look at the life of the disciples,

they were clamoring for positions.

They were clamoring to be who's going to be on the right side, who's going to be on the left side.

They wanted Jesus for their personal gains.

They wanted Jesus for their personal ambition.

But only Mary needed Jesus as a personal Savior.

And even when Jesus was raised back to life, he appeared first and foremost to Mary before appearing to his disciples.

In the life of Mary, I could see the character of Jesus revealed.

He comes to those who desires him the most, who's hungriest for him, who's desperate for him. And that was Mary.

And when I look back in the lives of those people

whom I thought before was Jesus' favorite,
