is Qualcomm's new senior vice president of automotive

Nicole Dugal. But before we get to our conversation with Nicole,

Alexa, obviously big news this week with Waymo expanding the audience for its driverless rides.

It is now kind of moving out of its early rider program in terms of offering these these-only rides that do not have a

human safety backup and rolling it out to its Waymo 1 ride-hailing network.

What did you make of that development?

You know, I think that's exciting stuff. I think it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

There was actually quite a bit of banter on Twitter between Weymo, Tesla, and Zooks, I believe, a little bit of back and forth about this new announcement between those companies.

So definitely curious to see how this goes.

Yes, I caught a little bit of that.

And that was kind of fun to see.

I'm glad to see that those, you that Waymo in particular kind of took the

jab and then returned one rather than just let it go. And this this is obviously not

the only development this week we it was kind of a busy newsweek.

Beyond the Waymo driverless expansion,

we had Amazon kind of unveiling its new delivery vans that it's making with Rivian. What do we know about that?

Absolutely, these Amazon Rivian electric delivery vans will begin delivering packages in in 2021 so just next year and 10,000 of the vans will be

manufactured by 2022 and they will be manufactured at Ribian's plant in normal, Illinois.
