And actually today we're going to answer some of your questions.

And the ones that have been sent in for July, we're going to do today.

And the first question that's come in is,

what are you harvesting at Purchill at this time of year?

And we thought I would answer that one because I'm the main sort of veg person here, I guess.

And so what I'm harvesting right now is lots and lots of salad.

And so, for instance, last night, I picked a delicious salad of coquard lettuce, a lovely red

cos, and then I moved on to some rocket and some bronze-leaved, another lettuce variety

called the Merva de Katsizel.

So I picked those.

I then went along a bit further down in the vegetable garden, and I picked some broad beans,

and we've actually grown

a lot of the red crimson flower broad bean which has really nice beans in the pods but they get a bit

starch if you don't pick them when they're very young so I pick some of those just before they get
