Hey, this is Trey. Thank you for joining us for a Tuesday edition of our podcast. Hope you had a great

weekend and a good beginning to your week and you can feel autumn in the air wherever you may happen to be.

I don't do this very often, but I do want to offer a word of congratulations actually to myself.

There's a good news and there's bad news.

The good news is somehow I managed to unify competing groups within the country.

That's the good news.

The bad news is, I guess, they were unified in their anger and

disdain for what I said a couple of weeks ago. I woke up on a Wednesday morning in New York,

excited to go on outnumbered for the first time ever in person, actually.

Three of my co-host, I know very well.

I grew up surrounded by four women with my mom and three sisters, so I felt somewhat prepared.

What I was not prepared for was the news that would break that morning.

Yet another school shooting, also involving the church, and more children murdered.

Even those who survived are victimized.

Parents and grandparents left to grieve for all of time. And when I say the survivors are victimized,

even adults don't do well when they witness violent crime. Can you imagine a child sitting in a

church pew and the person beside you is the victim of a violent act.

It never leaves you.

You're victimized for the rest of your life.

So our friends on the left were triggered because I dared to offer a word of hope based on the faith of those impacted.

This was, after all, a Catholic church school. So it's not too much of a leap

to conclude that they were people of faith. And even if they were not, Jesus singled out children
