So I just interviewed James Reisen this week, which was super awesome.

James Reisen is New York Times journalist,

and it was super surreal actually being in the New York Times Bureau in D.C.

But he is a New York Times journalist who basically has been fighting the Bush and Obama administration

for the last decade.

He's done a ton of groundbreaking work even before the wiretapping stuff, but I'll just

start there.

In 2004, he was the first journalist to basically be told about the warrantless wiretapping

program called Stellar Wind and wanted to publish the story.

And him and Eric Lichblow, his partner in New York Times, tried to publish a story many times.

And basically, they were threatened so much by the Bush administration.

And the New York Times was threatened.

Officials kept saying that there was blood on their hands if they would report it,

that there would be another terrorist attack and it would be their fault.
