I know the holidays can be beautiful and wonderful, but sometimes can be a little rough with all

the activities and friends and family, so just wanted to check in with you since you'll

be listening to this after the holidays for most of you, and I hope you're doing okay.

Today I want to talk to you, maybe related, maybe not related, but you know those ugly

moments of parenting that none of us want to talk about, those moments where we look

back and we're feeling really guilty or ashamed of our behavior, but we just lost our cool

in the moment.

And what do we do with those things besides bury them deep within our soul and, you know,

pull them up periodically to beat ourselves up, which is really not helpful.

So I want to talk about how to effectively and compassionately repair those situations

for yourself and for your child, and equally, they're equally important, right?

I mean, sometimes we think, oh my gosh, how can I fix this and repair my relationship

with my child, but also we need to think about how can I repair this relationship with myself?

I actually even think that's even more important because your relationship with yourself is the

most important relationship you're having in this lifetime.
