Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth, and this is Pray Every Day, where I have the privilege and joy of praying you through the Bible verse by verse.

We're in the Old Testament in the grand old book of Psalms, which I have been really unloving because folks, this is such a good book.

It's really honest.

And if you ever kind of wonder if we're supposed to be

honest with God or if he can take our honesty, just read the Psalms. Hey, before I read Psalm 145,

I want to pray for families who are struggling with a child in college. And so Lord Jesus,

I lift up that family with the child in college. Maybe they've come home.

Maybe they're wayward.

Maybe they're making hard choices.

Maybe it's just that they're lonely and they're depressed.

I don't know what it is, Lord, but you know that child better than we do and you love that child better than we do.

So I pray, Father, that first you just bring that kid to yourself and help them to make the choice to follow you.

But even if they don't, even if they're walking away, even if they're prodigals, I thank you so

much that your love is greater than that and that you are wooing them and all and we can pray.
