Welcome, everybody. I'm Martha McCallum, and I'm really glad to have Monica Crowley joining me today.

Monica is currently serving as the ambassador and the protocol chief to the president of the

United States. But you have had so many roles, Monica. I mean, when I look back, I've known you

for many years, but when I look back, it's like best-selling author, commentator. You were an assistant

to Richard Nixon when you were five years old, as we remember.

Exactly. Exactly. And of course, serving President Trump and also in the Treasury Department

prior to that, where you were given the Alexander Hamilton Award for your service there.

So you have a deep understanding of so many different levels of government. Just give us a

sense of what your current role is like, because we see you in every prominent spot as these

foreign dignitary visits play out here at home and overseas. Well, it's so great to join you,

Mark. Thank you so much for having me.

And yes, you and I go way back.

We've been friends in very long time.

This job is an absolute dream come true.

And I was so honored to serve in President Trump's first term at the Treasury Department.

It was an incredible time because I was there during the last two years, COVID, when COVID

hit, and we had to stand up all of these programs to get the country through that period

of time.

This is absolutely my dream job, chief of protocol of the United States.

So I've got an extraordinary team, and we manage all of the presidents, the vice president, and the Secretary of

States diplomatic engagements. So anytime a world leader comes to see President Trump or President

Trump travels abroad, my team and I manage that entire engagement from beginning to end.
