Brian, we're talking about the protect College Sports Act here on the Irish Breakdown

We just spent a lot of time talking about a lot of the facets of the bill that we liked

and whether we think it's going to be passed, the limitations it puts on transfer portal

and trying to regulate NIL.

But there was another big piece of this bill that was very interesting.

And it was talking about pooling media rights.

And basically it's the protecting college sports act.

It's trying to provide a pathway for changing media rights in college football.

Because let's be real right now, there are two main powers in this sport in the Big Ten in the SEC that are kind of,

they swing the proverbial biggest sticks when it comes to the money made in TV rights.

Some of it, I understand. Some of it has gone a little bit too far. They're looking to amend

different things from the Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961. They're looking to continue some of the things from that sports

broadcasting act. So this is a very interesting part of the bill.

Yeah, Trev, this is the one that also I will readily admit

was the most challenging for me to grasp.

There was a lot more of the language.

I'm like, yeah, I'm not really quite sure what the heck they're freaking talking about here.

A lot of it was also amending the 1961 Sports Broadcasting Act.

And so let's just kind of, let's just kind of dive into it a little bit and talk about as the best we can.
