Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another episode of the Irish Breakdown podcast brought

interesting show topic coming everybody's way. This actually, this news broke yesterday, but we

wanted to wait until today's show to really break down the Protect College Sports Act, which is a bill that's currently

going through the workings right now with Maria Cantwell and Ted Cruz, kind of being the

engineers of this moving forward. And really, it's geared towards saving college sports and

trying to correct a lot of the issues that a lot of us have with the current state of college

football right now. And then after we wrap up that,

that's going to cover the first two parts of today's show. After that, the SEC continues to

have a very, very strange offseason, just full of a lot of complaining and a lot of whining

out of that conference. And so we're going to talk some more about what was said and give our

thoughts on it. And then we're going to wrap everything up today with a daily mailbag. Ideally, those questions will be focused on the topics that we covered today. So if you have questions about the Protect College Sports Act, if you have questions or really just any comments about what's been happening so far down in the SEC, feel free to throw in those mailbag questions. But Brian, it's going to be an absolutely loaded show today, man.

And both Trevor and I have literally read through all of it. Trev read it in a different, he had, he found a way to do it, you know, smart millennials, you know, young people find cool ways. I literally just downloaded and read through the whole bill last night. I'm like taking notes the whole time with the bed like 3 o'clock in the morning. I'm reading through the whole thing. Some of it, I think we have a pretty good grasp on. Some of it, I don't know that we are

quite understand what they're looking at here because of the, you know, the legalese, so to speak,
