Welcome back, Tom Hartman here with you, President Biden and President Putin had their meeting

in Switzerland and Geneva, I believe it was, and you know, basically what came out of

it is a lot of happy talk and, you know, we'll see. We probably really won't know if there

was any kind of confrontation or, you know, any of the really, shall we say, important details

were actually worked out probably for a few days. But there was a protest of the Biden

Putin summit, right? How dare Joe Biden meet with Putin over the writing that comment,

I'm talking about how, you know, one of the right-wing websites said Biden gave Putin

exactly what he wanted. I mean, talking about irony, but anyhow, this protest was conducted

in a boat in the, you know, Lake Geneva Lake, right? This boat was, here is Osama bin Laden's

niece waving a Trump one flag, W-O-N, Trump won the election flag, protesting, this is

Nurban Laden as your name, in Lake Geneva, Switzerland waving this banner with other Donald

Trump supporters. Incredible. Meanwhile, the Fox News is doing everything they can to make

racism and misogyny and bigotry acceptable again in American society. It's like, you know,

we go two steps forward, one step back, two steps forward, one step back, two steps forward,

one step back in every measure as we become a more egalitarian society. We did this with,

you know, the right of women to vote. We did this with the right of black people to vote.

We did this with the, we could go through a whole long list of things. America does something

positive. There's a reaction from the troglodites within the Republican Party that can serve

it as the freak out. We step back a little bit and it seems to be like the high point, the

most recent high point of racial acceptance or racial harmony in the United States and whatever

the opposite of misogyny is, you know, accepting the equality of women was during the Obama presidency.
