Dr. Feigelding, welcome back to the program.

I'm so glad to have you on.

There's a number of things that I wanted to ask you about.

First is this Delta variant, sometimes referred to as the Indian variant or out of India,

that seems to be just ripping through the world, particularly the UK right now.

They've postponed their opening.

The CDC just issued a report yesterday indicating that a large, a huge number of American

counties, almost all of them, counties that Donald Trump carried in the last election,

have vaccination rates below 25 percent.

Are we looking at a real problem here in the United States?

Are we looking at massive death and disease in these counties, specifically as a consequence

of lack of vaccination?

This pandemic has come a long way, and we have seen the Delta variant, aka the Indian

variant.

Rather than India, India has lost well over a million people in the last few months.

The economists say it could be as high as two, three million, at least a million people
