It's nice, cool-ish, sunny, clear.

We're playing football tomorrow.

For better for worse, we're playing football tomorrow.

I remember a time not

too long ago, we would have done just about anything to see our team play win or lose.

But there's a lot of varying opinions out there about Mississippi State playing the game this

week, and we're going to get into that after the first break. You know, what's the, what's

the point playing this ball game? Why are we playing this ball game? Do we really

only have 49 players? And, you know, it's a dynamic situation to say the least. But the SEC office has

signed off on Mississippi State playing against the University of Georgia on Saturday. So those

courageous young men that are representing you will take the field on Saturday for better for worse.

Win or lose, they're going out there to play for themselves, to play for this university and play for

this football program and for all of you. And they are worthy of our respect. They're worthy of

our support. So whether you

agree on playing the game or not, you know, I don't think anybody conducted a Twitter poll or an

opinion poll to decide to poll the fan base if we should play the game. That hasn't stopped people

from sharing their opinions on the matter, but we're going to go play the game. My honest opinion is I think it's the right thing you do.
