Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson, as always.

I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson, here on the Humday Edition of the Yard,

who things are well with you wherever you are today.

It is a beautiful, sunny, cool, clear day here in Starkville, Mississippi, the center of the universe.

Hope that there is good weather and good tidings wherever you are today.

It's interesting how life works.

You know, there's always something that pops up, just kind of unexpectedly, just when you think you've got life figured out.

There's always a new hurdle. There's always a new mountain to climb. And rather than pout about it,

we have found a way to kind of move forward and to always look for the next journey, the next ridge,

the next adventure. And I hope that you are of the same character. You know, it is easy to get

down in the mouth, especially these days. There are so many things that we can choose to be

negative about. And in many respects, it is a choice. There's so many things in life that happen, whether they be politically, whether they

be, you know, sports-related, there's always something that we can get negative about.

I just try not to do that.

You know, this year has been trying on all of us, but Thanksgiving is approaching.

Look forward to having a chance to see some family I haven't seen a long time. I don't know how it is

for you guys, but I have seen my mom and stepdad, I believe, one time since all this madness

started back in March. And for me, you know, my stepdad was

battling cancer and going through chemo, and I just felt, you know what, I might be a carrier of this

virus, even though that I'm asymptomatic, and I didn't want to be around them. It's because I just

didn't want to put them in harm's way. And so I look forward to having a chance to visit with them here in the next few days.

And I hope that you guys get a chance to be with the ones that you loved most.
