Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson here on the Maroon Monday edition of the yard. It is a beautiful day here in Stargville, Mississippi. A little bit cool, a little bit chilly to the point that you probably want to wear a sleeve. But man, it is a sunshiny day, as the folks from Sesame Street taught us. It is an absolutely Chamber of Commerce Day.

Hope it's good weather wherever you are today.

We've got a lot to discuss.

It is Egg Bowl Week.

And we're going to do a show every day as scheduled.

You know, a lot of people take some extended time off for the holidays, but not going to do

that here. We'll go ahead and let you know that we'll probably record Thursday show, a Friday

show late Thursday night. So hopefully I'll have that up for you guys early Friday morning. I will be

spending Black Friday at the lodge, signing books for all of you

that have not yet gotten your copies of Alpha Dogs or Stark Villains or Flim Flam. We'll do that

right there at the lodge. And excited to do that. Always good to be around those folks and be around you

guys. I mean, this is what it's all about, right?

I mean, that's the thing, too, about Saturday is we had the ballgame against the University of Georgia.

We're going to break that down in its entirety. But, you know, I really believe that our Bulldogs really

won some people over this weekend. I think there were a lot of people that were on the fence,

and some people that were on the other side of the fence when it came to Mike Leach and

this football team.

But here's the thing for sure.

While many of our fans have quit on the season, those that dress out in Maroon and

White have not.

Those players have not quit on the season and i believe

due to how hard they played on saturday yes it is a loss we don't celebrate moral victories
