This is John Batchelor, conversation with my colleague Joseph Umar, Executive Director,

a Secure Free Society, about what we do know of the Vote Count in Venezuela without the interference or corruption of the Madura regime,

compiled in a way that Joseph explains by the opposition the number that emerges from the polling that done is 70% for Gonzales, leader of the

opposition and 30% for Maduro of the Maduro regime being accepted by a number of nations. and official government count which is not forthcoming.

Much more of this tonight but this is a predicate for a long struggle.

Gonzales is now recognized by many countries as the likely winner, waiting a move by Maduro. Much more tonight.

Good evening, John. Yeah, so it's kind of a great area area mostly because the numbers that in the evidence has been put forth by Comando Venezuela, which is the opposition in Venezuela, is done through a civil society network so they had their own

audits they had their own observers they had their own people that basically did a

very ingenious strategy of using both technology and the Venezuelan people to verify their votes, but it's not the official

Electoral Council of Venezuela.

The challenge with the Electoral Council, it's controlled by the regime. In fact, the head of the

Electoral Council was been sanctioned in the past for electoral fraud. So there's not a

lot of legitimacy with the Electoral Council, but I think a lot of

governments are kind of understanding that and moving to the point that they just, they looked at what Comando Venezuela has put forth in the website and the verification of the vote and the actual scanning of the ballots and they're acknowledging that the

results are what Maria Krena said they were which is a little shy of 70% for

Armando Gazala's and a little over 30% 70% for Nicholas Maduro.

So that's kind of starting to stick, at least with the part of the international community

that you would expect, would try to look at this in a more transparent way.
