This is John Batchelor, conversation with my colleague John Hardy of the Foundation for

the Defensive democracies, along with Bill Rajov of FTT, about the Ukrainian Incursion, invasion, probe, strike into Russian territory, asking if the

Ukrainians had overrun any Russian bases with significant material,

ammo, fuel, weapons.

Sometimes that is a mission profile.

John answers in detail about what he's seen so far from the videos that both the Ukrainian

and Russian forces are putting out for everybody to see.

So they certainly have captured a lot of Russian troops,

as I said earlier.

I have not seen footage of a significant amount

of Russian equipment captured.

I think, for one thing, the Russian forces defending the border such as they were were

not all that heavily armed so not a ton of tanks and you know BMPs and other

things right near the border to begin with so mostly

captured infantry or border guards or you know other other troops with maybe small arms or AGS grenade launchers or whatever near the border.
