This is John Batcher speaking with my longtime colleague, William Devlin, Reverend William Devlin, who's in

Plateau State in Nigeria.

This is North Central, West Nigeria, much under attack by jihadists, burning churches, driving people out.

In this place, however, Bill is explaining how he was serendipity put together with medical supplies, a container of medical supplies, and the need for the Plateau State Hospital in the capital of the Plateau State chose brought him together with the

governor, Governor Caleb and there the politics in Nigeria. This is a troubled country, high inflation, lots of

violence in the north, jihadis, as well as raiders and pirates on the road. And Bill explains how the medical supplies and the governor came

together for the dedication and now on to bigger missions. The hospital needs

Governor Caleb really needs my encouragement. He's newly elected. In fact, they, after the election that he won the the opposition party I won go

and all the details but they tried to revoke his election and so I thought this is a man that's in a difficult place.

He's in Plateau State.

He wants to make it the number one state here in Nigeria.

And so we had this great press conference today.

This 40 foot container was donated to my organization,

Widows and Orphans.

Info, and then we raised the money to ship it over and it got to Legos and because we were

working with his team the Commissioner of Health and everybody connected with this Plateau State Hospital,

it's a specialty hospital and it's got a huge foot pad built in 1944 and in fact the governor asked my help today to rebuild the hospital.

So it really is great for the people of Plateau.

It's great for US-Nigerian relations on an international level, on a friendship level,

and it's great, of course, for Governor Caleb and it's all glory to God.
