preview for this week's episode. And this week we're doing the cinephiles live show. It is

happening this Sunday, October 8th at 3 p.m. PT on our cinephiles YouTube channel. This week,

we're going to be talking about the Mission Impossible series. That's right. We're going to talk

about the first movie with Tom Cruise, directed by Brian Dupama, and then use that as our launching

pad to jump in and talk about all the other films in the Mission Impossible series. Talk about

why it endures, talk about why it is a film that a series that keeps going a franchise,

that keeps one upping itself over the last few years with Christopher McCory. And of course,

talk about how the series has shaped Tom Cruise's career, shaped the perception of Tom Cruise,

the great action sequences, the interesting stories, the great characters, the great actors that

have been involved in all of this. And what we might expect to see in the second part of dead

reckoning as the most recent entry in the Mission Impossible series. So we're going to cover it all,
