Hello and welcome to a very special live preview. We're doing these much more for our first of two holiday movies right here on the cinnophiles.

Yeah, very excited to be diving into this movie. First time for me watching Holiday Inn, but Steve, you've seen it many, many times and we just finished our episode on it.

And it was a very fun discussion exploring everything that was involved with this movie and talking about our different

points of views on these characters that Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby play here in

the movie. You think that was the funniest part of the whole conversation

was our different interpretations on what was really going on inside these characters.

So I look forward to that.

And I also feel that we have to say that there is, for those of you not familiar with Holiday Inn,

is that it has a truly upsetting,

upsetting for both of us black face sequence

right in the middle of what I consider to be a delightful film.

But I want you people to know that ahead of time so you don't get caught off guard by what is really a rough

sequence for me.

Yeah, we do spend time talking about it and of course we encourage you all when you listen to the

episode, whatever your feelings or thoughts are to let us know, especially our black

listeners what your thoughts are on that sequence in the film because we thought we talked

about it and we hope we did it justice in our feelings and points of views on that

particular sequence and but we're always open to be educated or hear more from you

all as you look at this sequence and how we talked about it but But aside from that sequence, Steve, there are a lot of fantastic sequences as well

that we really enjoy in terms of the dancing and the singing, the choreography,

and also the rapid-fire dialogue and wit that is fun to see here in this movie.
