This is John Batchel. My colleague Gregor Cappley commenting on the invitation delivered by Sir Kirstarmer to the president for a second state visit, unprecedented, second state visit for Mr. Trump to London. And in addition to that, an invitation to Balmoral Castle in Scotland to speak with

the king. Why this is significant is the hard feelings between Canada and the United States right

now and the potentially hard feelings between the United States in Europe over Ukraine,

over the tariffs, over the last three years, dealing with Russia

and the competing interests in China and the United States. So, a second state visit for Donald

Trump, hosted by the King at Windsor at Buckingham Palace.

Windsor, I'm not sure, in fact,

Gregory will instruct me in future which castle is chosen for a state visit.

I think it's Buckingham.

In any event, looking forward to it,

and all the marching bare hats,

they'll all be turned out in good weather.

Here's Gregory to explain why this is most significant. If the king can use this as a time to ensure much more harmonious U.S.-Canadian relations,

he will do so.

He will also make sure that the transatlantic

relationship will regain momentum in the, as much in the preparation for the departure of Trudeau

in Canada as for the departure eventually of Sequeer Stalmers' Labor Government in Britain.

So it's going to be very, very important.

So it's a state visit, which means that it is completely non-political.

The state dinner in London will be with the king hosting.

That makes it a formal state dinner between heads of state,
