The result from this has been finger-pointing in all directions.

Your new column identifies some strange allies suddenly.

The Democratic Party seems to be allied with the warfighters in Ukraine. The Republican Party

seems to be content with the idea that there's a bigger story here somewhere. It might be in arms control. It might be in

reducing the defense budget at the three major powers. We don't have any final list. Your column

points to the fact that oddly, Mr. Trump is being opposed by people who used to value peace.

Well, I do think it's pretty remarkable that the Democrats sort of en masse want to perpetuate a war that we are not winning. And we've seen this picture before.
