With regard to the statement made by the new Prime Minister, Mr. Carney, condemning Israel for

conduct in the Gaza Strip, that is, highly questionable interpretation of what I have of facts

about how Israel has conducted itself compared to the reporting from Gaza,

which is heavily prejudiced and often waited with fictions that are not later corrected,

such as the number of casualties, or the people who are waiting for food, or the food itself,

or in this instance, gunfire around an aid station, the allegation made and repeated out of London, I heard it on the FT.com, that women

and children had gunshot wounds. There were no women and children with gunshot wounds.

What gunshot there might have been is a Hamas member suspect shooting someone else.

However, this is a scale of reporting that has been routine since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip.

The surprise is that Mr. Carney picks it up as if it's a court evidence and joins with Mr. McCrone,

Mr. Starmor, demanding an end of the war and an accommodation to the Hamas gangsters who use

the human shield of the Gazans. In any event, here's Conrad's comment on Mr. Carney, immediately wandering into foreign

affairs with what is not clear to be what his information is. We don't know where he gets it

from. He doesn't say. Much more of this later. F.T. Well, I guess he would claim that that's what

our diplomats in the area gave him to understand. But there was no elaboration by any of them
