This is John Batcheter, conversation with my good colleague Joseph Vomire, Executive Director of

Secure Free Society, about the coup in Bolivia that took place over these last days. There is a word in Spanish meaning self-coo. The

suspicion and Joseph lays out the grounds is that the president of the country, Arse, proposed a fake coup to the general who

led the so-called coup on the palace to distract from the economic conditions that have collapsed.

Even Morales, the former dictator of Bolivia is involved in this decision-making as well. Blaming Arse or participating with Arse, in any event

we're looking at the beginning of disruption, turmoil, and trouble in Bolivia and perhaps in the whole region.

So Joseph supplies some details about the general who led the coup, the self-coo, who was the self-confessed actor. Bolivia, a poor country going through a

bad patch but Eva Morales has been in charge of Bolivia for many years he's also a regional boss. Joseph

Omar executive director of security society more of this tonight. The general

in question the general that was so-called leading this coup, right, is his name is Juan Jose Zuniga.

That's a general that A is very well known to law enforcement authorities because he's known or these these cues alleged

of being involved with the narco flights to Venezuela. He's a general that's in

charge of bringing cocaine from Bolivia to Venezuela. Two, he's a general that

traveled to Iran last year to work out that MOU, that defense agreement that Believing Iran signed recently,

and specifically working out the details of that.

And 3, he's a general that when he was a

colonel years ago was served six days in prison because he was caught

embezzling money from the military coffers. And in fact the way he he got out of prison was Kuz of Evel Morales himself.

So what I'm doing is I'm painting the picture of an individual that's corrupt,

that's involved in all kinds of narco-terra's deals deals that highly unlikely that he was going to rebel

against the ruling power.
