This is John Batchelor, conversation with the Senior Vice President for International Affairs,

Marion Rosenberg of the Anti-Defamation League, about a poll, global poll just conducted,

that found that young people are disposed to anti-Semitic thoughts and remarks and opinions, surprisingly, more so than their

elders. Surprisingly, these are young people who were born either late in the 20th century or

in the 21st century. Have no personal knowledge of the Second War, of the Korean War, of the Cold War,

to my knowledge. They were children. And here they are, carrying around prejudices, hating

hateful remarks that are like archival from the early 20th century leading to the tragedy.

Yes, so unfortunately, we have discovered that younger respondents between the age of 18 and 34 show a greater prevalence of anti-Semitic

attitudes. And we're really looking at a demographic time bomb that not just governments,

but also civil society and academia really need to take into consideration and fight it.
