This movie follows, I think, 20 days in the life of Melania Trump up to and including

inauguration day.

The second inauguration day.

20 days long as well.

It's actually, it was shot in real time and we watched it in real time.

I haven't slept in 20 days.

We started this movie.

We said it's 144 minutes.

No, it's an hour and 40 minutes. It's not even

144. Sorry, what did I? That was a Freudian slip. I mean, I understand how you make that mistake.

And I was going to say, you should add a few zeros there. Unwatchable, just like totally insipid.

We knew this was going to be bad, but I was actually surprised somehow

by the specific texture of its badness. Because you and I, we've seen a lot of these

hagiographic movies about former or current politicians. You know, years and years ago,

we watched this movie Mitt, all about Mitt Romney, which I think at the time we didn't

think it was that great, but I want to send those people a bouquet now for the relatively

unvarnished insight it gave us into Mitt Romney in his world. This is a strange beast because

the whole movie has the look and feel of like a perfume commercial. Yes.

Like so obviously staged, so obviously very choreographed, so obviously not authentic.

And I don't think it even particularly tries to hide it.

No, it is, it is hyper real and it is not really trying to be anything else.
