I am going to announce to all of you right now that I am officially Santos pilled. I decided to

write about George Santos. And I mean, this guy's incredible to write about because in the course

of drafting the piece over like two days or whatever, you know, I had to keep going back and

updating it because new things kept like coming out like new pieces of news. This guy has lied

about so much that, you know,

writing about him is very difficult because you actually have to do a lot of just

very like heavy lifting to like get everything straight of like the nature of the

lies, like all of the different ones.

He belongs to that special class of like virtuoso fabulous where he'll make up a lie,

but then the lie is like one of those Russian dolls.

Like you open it up and then there's a lie within it and like another lie.

Hey, you step out of there.

There's a filmmaker who's been on my mind a lot lately.

I mean, he's never been far from my thoughts.

You know, he's just in the big stable of, you know, weirdos and freaks who's constantly

circulating in my brain.

But I've been revisiting a lot of his work lately and just sort of vibing with it.

And I really do like him.

His name is Nick Zed, and he passed away around this time last year.

John Waters said of him, and I quote,

Nick Zed makes violent, naked, perverted art films from hell.

He's my kind of director.
