Actually, I'd like to talk about something that's not the Oscar race.

Something that's even more important, which is the Razzie race.

I think I'd gone a long time on this podcast

without ever bringing up the Razies. But they have been in the news a bit lately. I don't know

if you've ever heard of this, Luke. The Oscars, they give awards to good movies. But what if you

had an award show that gave awards to bad movies, right?

You're telling me, such a thing exists?

It's the annual Golden Raspberry Awards.

It was founded in 1981 by one John J.B. Wilson, who was a publicist.

He was a publicist at one of the studios.

And all that you need to know about the Razzis is that in the first

year, they nominated Stanley Kubrick for Worst Director for The Shining. So they're not always,

not always quite on the mark. Well, folks, you heard it here first, the problematic history of the

Razies. Sorry, can we, before we move on from that, I mean, can you unpack that a little more?

I mean, what do you mean they nominated The Shining for Worst Movie of the Year?

For Worst Director, well, I mean, it's just, as you know, whenever a Kubrick movie came out,
