The room where it happened is 20-20 best-selling memoir of his 17 months as National Security

advisor for former President Donald Trump. The detail that John emphasizes in

this telling is when Mr. Trump in 2019 alleged that Secretary

of State Hillary Clinton's emails 30,000 plus of them, were in Ukraine or wound up in Ukraine, not quite clear

why, but in Ukraine, prior to or simultaneous to Hillary Clinton directing them to be

deleted. It was all very fast the way the president said what was going to happen but John connects that

with the former president Trump's ambition to invite president Selensky and President Putin into a room together to settle the Ukraine

dispute.

Again, it's not entirely logical, but John Bolton explains it's highly unlikely and it's

evidence that Mr Trump moves very fast and is not all that keen on the detail.
