| 0:50.5 | all I really want to focus this podcast on you know first of all let's talk about's talk about why multifamily. You're in the single family space. What drew you to get into multifamily? |
| 0:59.4 | Well, we had been longtime investors. Investing has always been attracted to us, has always been a goal for |
| 1:07.4 | us. And when we moved into real estate, we started with things that we could wrap |
| 1:13.4 | our head around, which was single family. We're doing great with that. Love that. Love what we're |
| 1:21.0 | doing. But we ran into a problem when the lender told us our income no longer supported our borrowing. |
| 1:30.2 | And that affected us on our personal balance sheet, things that, you know, our credit, basically. |
| 1:37.5 | And so we had capital that we wanted to deploy, and we were looking for other ways to deploy it. |

| 1:47.2 | discovered multifamily once we saw how it worked, saw the opportunity there, the risk reward |
