Jesus goes and he starts performing miracles and

healings and now what do we see the apostles doing they go perform miracles and

healings but I love what you said Walter this miracle here is a sign it verifies what they're preaching but it's a

sign that gets to the sermon notice how we want it totally different we

want the sermon that's going to get us to the miracle right we want the sermon that's going to get us to the miracle, right? We want the sermon that's going to help us

figure out how to fix our problems and start walking when we're lame and whatever other,

where we want to turn this into a metaphor. But instead, what Peter says is, no, the miracle, the goal of the miracle is to get you to the sermon so you get Christ

We're doing this so you get to Jesus I'm with you as soon as Walter said that I was like okay that's also the pattern of Jesus I didn't make the

connection because Jesus would always do a sign and then he's like okay it's a period of

teaching on the nature of the kingdom of the God.

And he... Which is harder to say to a man,

take up your bed and walk or your sins are forgiven.

Well, obviously, it's easy to say your sins are forgiven and who would know?

But to say take up your bed and walk,

that's got to take a public miracle.
