Huawei is banned in the United States and many other countries allied with the US have also

moved effectively to block Huawei's interference in communication, sometimes known as surveillance or

spying. But now, Huawei is looking to use its leverage to replace in some fashion NVIDIA chips.

What does this mean, Brandon?

Yeah, it basically means that China is trying to go fully indigenous.

They're trying to basically take what was a weakness,

which was the fact that we were cutting them off

from access to our very sophisticated computer chips and they're trying to

basically use that to force their indigenous program to catch up with the

Americans and it has had some degree of success.

I mean recently we heard about the new Huawei smartphone that was using these new

seven nanometer chips.

They still can't quite get to where we are,
