Today we're kicking off a new series called praying for breakthrough.

And these next few weeks we're going to be praying for breakthrough.

We're going to be focused on the subject of prayer and asking God for a breakthrough,

personally and in our church, through our lives together. And we're getting

ready for Easter. Actually, we are three weeks away from Easter weekend. I love Easter. It's my

favorite holiday of the year. Multiple reasons. I love to eat all those little Easter candies

that belong to my kids, and I take them.

And I also love to celebrate because that weekend, we celebrate the fact that the tomb is empty and Jesus is alive.

There is hope for us because of Easter.

And on Easter weekend, as you know, this is the weekend that so many people come to church

for the very first time, so many people

come back to church, and it's one of the greatest opportunities of the year to bring somebody

to church with you. And I want to invite you to begin thinking about and praying through who's

going to be that person that you bring with you to the Easter service coming up three weeks from now.

Also, on Easter weekend, we're having

one massive celebration at all of our campuses, every service. We're going to be celebrating.

Baptism is that decision. Once a person's made a decision to follow Jesus, it's the first

public profession of that internal decision that has been made.

And if you are new to faith, if you've recently made a decision to follow Jesus,

or you made a decision a long time ago but have never gone public,

I want to invite you to do that this Easter.
