We are in week number two of a message series here called Praying for Breakthrough.

This is one of my favorite seasons of the year because we are on a march up towards Easter, two weeks from today.

I'm so excited about getting to be a part of my first Easter here at Saddleback

Church. And I want to encourage you as we're getting ready for Easter, this series is vital for us

to lay the groundwork, to be praying for what it is that God's going to do through us together.

Last week, we launched the Pray 24-7 initiative. There were close to a thousand people that signed up to pray on an ongoing basis around the clock.

So I just want to say, way to go and celebrate you.

And when you sign up, actually, you can sign up today through the digital program.

a time once a week. There are slots there are still available. And our prayer is that one day we would

be praying around the clock. We're very close to that. And we're going to do this until Jesus

returns, whenever it is. As long as we're here, we're going to keep praying around the clock

asking God to move.

The point and the purpose of this is praying for breakthrough in our world that we would partner

with God in bold prayer for the great commission to be accomplished in our generation.

So I want to encourage you if you haven't taken that step to do so.

bring a friend or a family member to church. There's power in your invitation. My life has changed

because somebody walked across the street and invited my mom to church when she was a little girl.

And so your invitation literally could change a whole generation of people.
