All right, this morning we have a number of requests that we're going to be praying for.

And I want to focus our attention around Hebrews chapter 11 verse 18.

And the writer of Hebrews is focusing on the time back in Israel's history when God came

down to Mount Sinai and provided the 10 commandments to Israel.

During that time, God came down the top of the mountain smoked and flamed and the people

were afraid and that sort of thing.

And the writer of Hebrews tells us that we have come to a place when we come to the living

God that is of much greater impact than that.

Listen to what he says.

He says, you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom

and tempest and the sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words made the hearers beg

that no further messages be spoken to them.
