Romans 14:14-19 - I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. 15 For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. By what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. 16 So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. 19 So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

| 0:24.9 | after about with COVID, his health went down dramatically and this past Thursday, the |
| 0:31.2 | 4th of February, he passed from this life. |
| 0:35.0 | And I want to say first of all say thank you to the many many many of you who have sent |
| 0:40.0 | emails who have seen on social media that my father passed away and have reached out. |
| 0:45.6 | Thank you so much for your encouragement, for your prayers. |
| 0:48.0 | I just wanted to share a little bit with you about how I'm doing, how my wife is doing, |
| 0:52.6 | how my family is doing in light of this event. |
| 0:56.7 | We all face this sort of thing where someone in our lives comes to a place of illness or |
| 1:02.6 | comes to a place of age where their life is ending. |
| 1:07.5 | Sometimes we have warning that it's coming like was the case with my dad. |
| 1:12.6 | Sometimes we do not have warning at all and it is sudden like an accident. |
| 1:16.7 | My son-in-law has a friend who is in a terrible auto accident just recently and his driving |
| 1:24.1 | partner, he's a driver for a living, his driving partner did not survive and he did, he's |
| 1:28.9 | in the hospital recovering. |
| 1:30.8 | These sorts of things happen in our lives and they can be the things that shake us the |
| 1:35.9 | most in our faith and shake us the most in the way that we view God. |
| 1:42.2 | And I just wanted to take a moment to give you a little peek behind the curtain, not |
