Hey there, friends. Thanks for joining me again for this Christmas Day,

Pray Together episode. Now, of course, you don't have to pray on Christmas Day,

along with this episode, but if you are, I thank you. I know it's an important day for family and for celebrating the birth of our Lord,

but it's also a day for us to care for one another as a body of Christ.

And so that's why I just wanted to be consistent with publishing the Pray Together episode today.

Now honestly I'm recording the day before because we have a lot of events going on on Christmas day,

looking forward to time with family and that sort of thing thing and you may notice the sound is a little bit different

I'm in a hotel room this time because we are visiting family but I want you to know that this is

important for you and for me to be involved in praying for each other.

Father, we began by thanking you for Christmas. For Christmas Day, we thank you for Jesus

being willing to come to the earth to become a child like we once were to become a human

being like we are and to fight through all of the struggle of being a human being and yet to do so without sin.

We thank you so much that he did so for us to give us new life and eternal life with you.

Lord when I think about heaven and I think about what it's going to be like, I can't imagine it apart from your presence because it wouldn't be heaven if you weren't there.

And we're so thankful that we get to spend eternity with you.
