This morning we're going to dive into God's Word.

We're going to be in the book of 1st John.

So if you want to put that in the back of your mind,

in just a few minutes.

As if I didn't have enough going on in my life already, a couple of months ago, I started flight training.

I started learning how to fly an airplane.

And actually, let me correct that was more than a couple of months ago because you might be getting nervous

There was six months ago. It's in January that I started learning how to fly an airplane and so what happened was back right before COVID my wife for Christmas got me a free flight lesson and I was supposed to take that sometime in 2020,

but then 2020 came and it was all kinds of crazy.

And so I put it off for four years and so this January I decided to take the

free flight lesson I loved it and so I've just kept on going and right now I'm at

the cross-country phase of flight training.

So what that means is I've already been up and I've soloed, I've flown by myself,

and now they're wanting to test me out to see if I can take the airplane a little further.

So cross country just means that I can fly the plane 50 miles or more.

So before they take you up there and just let you go by yourself, they want to send an instructor

up with you to make sure that you know how to handle the plane on a cross-country flight.
