0:24.6	Obviously we need a word from God, not from me, from God.
0:31.8	And I shifted gears a little bit in the plan and I'm going to bring a talk that I'm titling,
0:37.7	be the church.
0:39.6	And I want us to look at and think about how God is calling you and me to live in this moment of time
0:48.9	he has given us. In this world that is broken, that is hurting, that is dark, what is God's plan for me and you and how does he want us to live in this moment in time that he has put us.
1:08.1	It says in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 that God is making his appeal to the world through the church.
1:18.0	Uh-oh!
1:21.0	It doesn't seem like maybe the best plan. I know Grant was preaching about that last week. It seems a little risky that God and his perfection has chosen imperfect people to make his appeal to the world.
1:34.0	So what should you and I do?
1:36.9	In response to what's happening in the world right now,
1:40.2	as Christians, I think there could be a few different responses.
1:44.0	There could be a response of complete despair and a loss of hope of going like,
1:49.2	man, I just don't think anything will ever change. I'm just kind of given up and I'll just see you
1:55.9	know wait till heaven or there could be another response and it could be the
2:00.5	barricading response of the insulating ourselves from the outside world
2:05.0	and just make sure we stay within the confines of the people of God and the church and no
