My name is Nick Pollock. Today is April 20th. Happy Monday. And yes, we are going to talk about baseball. Shane McClanahan went yesterday. And he was looking fine through four innings. But then the fifth, oh man, did not work out well for him. 4.1 endings, 4 runs, 8 hits,

zero walks, 5Ks. This was against

the pirates, and I understand.

You do not want to go with McClanyhan

anymore. innings, four and runs, eight hits, zero walks, five Ks. This was against the Pirates.

And I understand you do not want to go with McClanyhan anymore.

And long story short for me is that McClanahan is a pitcher who is better than this and still

shaking off rust.

He was at 95-96.

He even pushed it in 98 in the start.

And his change-up has not been the stellar pitch that we have seen at the beginning of the season.

And it's really messing him up lately.

That said, I don't know if Shane McClanhan is going to be great.

I don't know if he's going to be amazing in the next month.

I don't know if it's going to really pan out during the year.

And value now is way more valuable than value later. It's what I constantly say.

I don't think that necessarily Shane McClanahan is always this. I see a guy who's

executing a lot of good ones and then he's just not having the same kind of polish and consistency

that we usually get. But then again, coming back from missing so much time, it's not out of the question to imagine that, yeah, Shaming Klanhan just needs more reps and he'll be good again. It's not like his fastball's just a bad pitch or his change-up is just a bad pitch. It's just about consistency. So do what you want, honestly. I mean, this is one of those things

of who knows when it's going to happen. I consider this a tiara turn around right away guy.

His ceiling is not that top 10, top 15, but it is that top 30s holly throughout the year. And he's
